1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Church Content OS, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

Church Content OS is an AI-powered content generation platform for churches. It generates newsletters, social posts, devotionals, and other communications from sermon notes, calibrated to your denomination's theology.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate account information.
• You are responsible for maintaining account security.
• You must be authorized to represent your church or organization.
• One person may not create multiple free accounts.

4. Content Ownership

• Your content: You retain all rights to sermon notes, edits, and approved content you create.
• AI-generated content: Content generated by our AI is provided to you and your organization. You own the output.
• Our platform: We retain rights to the platform, software, templates, and denomination packs.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service to generate hateful, discriminatory, or harmful content.
• Attempt to circumvent theological guardrails for malicious purposes.
• Resell AI-generated content as a competing service.
• Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property.
• Exceed rate limits or abuse the API.

6. AI Disclaimer

AI-generated content is a draft that requires human review. You are responsible for reviewing all generated content before sharing it with your congregation. We provide theological guardrails as a safety net, but they are not infallible. Always have a theologically trained person approve content.

7. Billing

• Free (Starter) plan has no time limit.
• Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
• You can cancel or downgrade at any time.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis within 30 days.

8. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions, AI provider outages, or force majeure events.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Church Content OS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to theological errors in generated content.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
